As far as using the terms 'enabled' vs 'augmented' in the context of AI, I see enabled as being more 'allowed to' or even optional. Augmented on the other hand I see as being built-in and essential.
From a team perspective, I'd say enabled is perhaps fitting for early in an adoption process whereas augmented is towards the end.
Augmented Development is my choice of term for this stuff. That way, it's open ended enough to cover for the future and also allows the precursor elements to be included.
Interesting, I realised @Kent Beck has been using this term too. I see the term AI-Enabled as orthogonal to AI-Augmented. I’m toying with the idea of renaming this series to AI-Augmented Teams after seeing your comment, but it evokes a negative connotation when combined with the word Teams. I think I’ll hold off for now.
